Some time in 2006 or later, I started doing some watercolor, graphite, and colored pencil drawings of small objects. The image format is small, roughly 10h x 11w inches, but often the objects were smaller.

Michael Fauerbach saw and was delighted with the early ones and we later arranged an exchange of work. He appreciated the depiction of minute changes of color and detail (impossible to convey in photos, sorry) as if the objects had been observed under a microscope.
