In the winter of 1995 I worked on these drawings, various ideas for figurative sculptures that had been cooking in my thoughts. I thought of them as ideas to be modelled in clay, few of them lend themselves to stone and I also wanted to explore other materials in addition to stone. These ideas are based on, again and still, how we express emotions and ideas through our bodies –for me an infinite source of inspiration.
