This piece is commercial work, commissioned by Pierrot at the Baqui. The commission work he requested, sometimes for himself, sometimes for others, was all work that I would not have elected to do, but it was not all disagreeable. I had met Monsieur Dikakis, but this bust was made from photographs. It was a surprise gift for him, and he seemed to quite like it.
