Pamela Pilkonis In Bernard Pfriem Studio

Bernard had talked about getting his kitchen/living room painted, and I got the bright idea to do it for him, in exchange for lodging winter/spring 1980, and use of his studio. I remember making sketches of the walls to document the placement of his many ‘objets’ so that I could put them back in place properly. It was a treat to be able to set up my own work stations and draw in Bernard’s studio. I drew Emmanuel (surname forgotten) from Jean Pierre Sudre’s photo school, gave him the drawing and he gave me this photo of me working in the studio.
