Late winter, early spring, and spring itself, were new seasons to me in Lacoste. The air, the light, the temperatures, all affect one’s perception of close and distant forms and colors. The elemental changes in the south of France are all drastic, giving each season such a distinct character, and making it easy to remember that every day, every moment, the world is renewed and different.
