These valley studies in acrylic on paper came from wanting to work with paint, but not having much time for large scale work on canvas. I also wanted to register another set of shape or form “integers” that I observed in the landscape. Though extrapolated from views of the valley, I suspected they could be sketches for possible sculptures.
